ECHO -
ECHO This disk contains ARChived files, before you can use programs stored
ECHO in this way you will need to unpack them. To do this you will need to
ECHO use the program called ARC.EXE or ARCX.COM which is usually placed on the
ECHO same disk with ARChived programs. Heres how to do it:-
ECHO Place the disk with the ARChive file and ARC.EXE or ARCX.COM on drive A:
ECHO Place a blank formatted disk in drive B:, log into B: drive.
ECHO so that you have the B> prompt. Now type as follows
ECHO A:ARC E A:ARCHIVE <RETURN>
ECHO Where it says ARCHIVE in the above line put the name of the archive you
ECHO are trying to unpack and where it says ARC you may have to put ARCX instead if
ECHO if that is the program you have. Check the directory of the disk in drive A:
ECHO to get the exact names.
